A Horse and I

The Horse and I

After jumping on the scale last night and realizing that I have let myself get 21.6 pounds over race weight, I have a whole new motivation to ride. This is why I still got on my bike and rode today after looking out the window and seeing it snow in the mountains. It only took me 45 minutes to get into it and at 1-hour I had to turn around. The only other animal I saw outside was this horse that I bonded with shortly before turning around. The way down was much colder and by the time I got home my toes where like one big clump of frozen flesh. They are still thawing out as I type this.
