I think I’m suffering a little bit from jetlag and some hard racing in the Midwest. I woke up this morning feeling as stiff as I have all year. It could have had something to do with only getting 2 hours of sleep on a plane the night before. I got a solid 11 hours of sleep last night and woke to rain falling so I jus lay in bed and listened to it. I moved slow not wanting to ride in the rain. After breakfast I sat on the couch and read listening to the rain fall even harder. I just finished doing my stretching routine and the rain is falling harder than before. All I need to do today is a light spin to loosen up the legs. Tomorrow we do a 177km road race in Belgium. I believe there will be almost 200 riders. The race starts out with some rolling terrain, cobbles and narrow roads the first 50k and then becomes flat for the last 127k. It should be fun as it’ll be my first time in Europe racing. Today Jenny, Bruce, Ryan, Mark, and the rest of the gang are doing the Lake Mac Triathlon. They should be hitting the water soon as it’s almost 7a.m. there. Good luck! I think I might make a break for it just to get out of this house.

Kick ass tomorrow. I doubt you'll think the midwest racing was hard after the races you're about to do.
