An Unpleasant Site

Can you find the naked guy?

After not riding for four days during Nicks wedding trip I was dying to spin my legs again. Today’s loop was mostly on easy dirt trails with some moderate single track and a few short road sections mixed in. That’s one of my favorite things about riding a cross bike, you get to ride on and off the road during the same trip. You never know where you might end up! As I was enjoying the scenery around the Boulder Reservoir and the beautiful back drop of the Rocky Mountains I realized I was riding past the nude beach. I have always heard that it was there but have never actually seen anyone. At first you would think, sweet, a nude beach, but what I saw today was more disturbing than sweet. This old, grey haired guy was just taking his dog for a walk, completely nude, like it was no big deal. It’s not like he was hiding down by the beach, he was actually walking on the trail where the non-nudist were. I guess you never know what you’re going to see around here.
