Cycling bloggers: A way to get new readers, earn a little money

Posted by steve outing on 2/6/2007 on steve outing's blog

Hi, everyone. Here's news of a new thing we've instituted here on YourCycling.com:

If you write a blog about cycling (that's hosted someplace other than YourCycling.com), we can help you get a larger audience. Just add your cycling-related blog to our Blog Share Program so that your content will appear on this website as well as your own -- with links to your blog.

This is primarily a way for new readers to discover your blog and boost the size of your audience. But there's also financial incentive: We'll run Google contextual text ads alongside your blog content, then split the revenue with you.

When we notice a particularly good item on your blog, we'll post it to the YourCycling.com homepage, so more new people will learn about your blog.

To sign up for the program, first make sure you are a registered member of YourCycling.com (free) and that you are logged in. Then visit your profile page, click the "Share Your Blog!" tab, and fill out the form.

For more detail, check out the FAQ.
