Easter Crack

Posted by whitey on 4/8/2007 on whitey's blog

The boys woke me up at 6:00 this morning by crawling into my bed and begging me to get up so they could find their Easter eggs. It’s amazing how excited a kid can get over finding a hardboiled egg. The look on their faces is priceless. The kids were overdosed on candy and eggs by 9:00. I figured it's Easter, why not; I usually don’t let them have too much sugar so it hits them pretty hard. It’s like they're on crack or something. Man, they get wound up. I don’t care what the weather is like; these kids need to be outside. And since Jake wants to grow up to be Tarzan, we rode over to the park and he climbed on stuff. Sid stayed in the sled providing me with some resistance training until he fell and got a face full of snow. Talk about a good way to get a short workout in with the kids. We all had fun.
