Father like Son

Once again I am sorry for the lack of updates. The flu has gone through my house and although I have managed to dodge the bullet I have been busy taking care of my two boys. Jake is feeling much better today and is excited to compete in his second cyclocross race of the year on Sunday down in Golden, CO. The weather forecast is predicting some good ol Belgium weather. He races at 9 am and I race on the same course at 3pm so we’ll have some time to kill. He doesn’t know it yet but we’re going to take him to the amusement park while we wait. I also race on Saturday but am not expecting too much due to my lack of riding. I’ve only gotten five quality training rides in the last two weeks. I’ve also been doing yoga so I feel great but may not be fast. We’ll see.
