Posted by whitey on 6/18/2007 on whitey's blogI don't know if you read Jonathan Garcia's Blog, but when it comes to Fathers Day, I think he said it best. Except, I think that my dad is the strongest dad in the whole world. He could probably lift a house. My fathers day with the boys went great and I think it was the best one so far. We invented a new game kind of like the lava game you play at home where you throw pillows all over the floor and can't touch the ground. The only difference was that our game involved a bike lane and if you went out of the white lines, your tires would melt from the lava or you would get run over by a lava monster, aka, Car.
Team Einstein's and I leave bright and early tomorrow morning for Minneapolis. We are competing in the Nature Valley Grand Prix which is a six day Pro 1 stage race. My parents are driving over from Wisconsin to watch the last few days, which will be nice. They have never seen a stage race of this caliber before so I hope they are impressed and get a little better idea of what I do. Either way it will be good to see them again; it's been over six months.
