No, they didn’t interview me and I’m not on the cover, but if you look at the picture in the story about the Project Rwanda team you can see me. I’m standing in the second row waiting for the start of a race at Tour of Gila. It’s a pretty sweet picture and you can actually see my face and everything. Not just a shoulder which I would also brag about. When you’re a nobody like me, you have to take what you can get. Maybe someday I’ll do something other than throw my bike through a windshield or develop a first aid kit to get some press. Podium finishes are just too hard and those other guys are too damn fast. Pack fill is what I am, but so are those Rwandans. I have an idea, maybe I should race in some exotic country to get press in the magazines. And if getting in magazines means publicity for your sponsors the people who write the checks are happy. And if the people who write the checks are happy they will most likely write you more checks. See where this is going, everyone wins. If you have lots of money and like biking, pay me to travel the world and race my bike so you will be happy. Yes, I would do that for you.
