Still Windy

It was in the high 50’s and sunny again today but the damn wind was relentless. Well, that’s not entirely true. On the first half of the ride I was spinning out my 53-12, which means the wind was pushing me at around 35 mph. Very Nice!!! After a quick shot of espresso from Vic’s in Prospect I turned around and took the long way home. I rode mostly dirt roads and enjoyed the Colorado country. This half of the ride I found myself in the 39-23 working my butt off. You know, the kind of ride where you keep checking to see if your breaks are rubbing and find yourself cursing at the wind. But like they say, a bad day on the bike is still better than a good day at work.
