Posted by whitey on 3/2/2007 on whitey's blogThere was a crazy tail wind on the way home from my ride today. Sections of the road were still covered in ice from last night’s snowfall. This made it a little sketchy but no big deal. If there’s one thing I learned while riding on the lakes and snowmobile trails back in Wisconsin, it's don't try to turn while you're on ice and never apply the front brake. The rear one can be used to do a controlled skid and really impress your friends. Basically, you just have to point your bike and go. The same thing applies to mud and sand only there’s a little more room for error. And just like downhilling, it’s always easier the faster you go but the consequences are obviously higher. I guess like everything in life, it’s all about balance.

Okay Whitey.. The sign pic was a car triggering the speed signal, not your bike, right? You expect us to believe you shot this as you whizzed by? :)

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say something.
