Unsure if the pro mens race was even going to happen we still warmed up on our 15 pound lightning rods like normal. The race started just 10 minutes late and all 120 riders went fast from the gun through the fan lines streets of Tulsa. Prime number one was $50 and Team Einstein's rider Brad White took it. Prime number two was another $50 and Brad White took that as well. Then I attacked and went solo for awhile taking a $100 prime in the process. The fourth prime was another $100 and was taken by who other than Brad White. By this time we were well over half way through the race and decided to rest up a little for the final attacks. The field had been widdled down to about 40 riders and it stayed single file for the final 10 laps. Successful Living controlled the final laps of the race taking the 1, 2 spots. I finished 10th with Derek close behind in 14th. Tonight we race another fast CRIT at a different downtown Tulsa location with another $10,000 on the line. I'll have another report tomorrow. www.tulsatough.com
