I’ve been on group rides with him here in Boulder and have seen how fast he is. Scary fast is the only way to put it. When he attacks on a climb there is no one in this town that can hang, and that’s saying a lot. Especially with the slue of Toyota United, Slipstream, Health Net, Successful Living and Priority Health riders that live here. Hamilton signed with Rock Racing, a team, which up to this point, has done nothing worth talking about other than crash out half the peloton. They do ride in style up to the start line though, with brand new Cadillac Escalades sporting chrome dubs and wearing Rock Republic clothing. You can’t argue they look good. Hopefully Hamilton can help them look good during the races. That being said, I can’t wait to race against him and his new team in 2008. It looks like they’ve signed some other big names as well. Should be an interesting year.
