BVR site under going some changes

Posted by quadzilla on 11/23/2007

Just let you all know that I will now be primarily posting on 303racing.com. 303racing.com will be the place for Front Range cycling news and banter so if you enjoyed the news on this site this year then please change your RSS Feeds over to 303racing! As for this site we will move it to more of a static site with some team news and highlights... it won't die just switch over to being 100% team news focused.

Thanks for making the switch

Team rider, Bruce Polderman, is in the hospital

Posted by quadzilla on 11/18/2007

Friday, Nov 16, Bruce Polderman hit/was hit by a pick-up truck. He broke his neck in two places and his wrist. As of Saturday evening, I believe Bruce is now at home and will heal up and might be back on a trainer in a month or so. Thanks to all who have been emailing and asking about him. We are all concerned and am very pleased that he will be doing well given time.

Mix 1, our title sponsor in 08, raises 6MM in funding

Posted by quadzilla on 10/3/2007

Hot off of the press release today. Hey, it takes a lot of $$$ to run a race team you know -;)

The Boulder company, which has 10 employees, will use the money to speed up its national expansion.

Mix1 raised $1.9 million in a first round of funding in June 2006.

The company describes its product as a "premium, all-natural, protein and antioxidant drink for busy Americans who struggle to find time to eat nutritiously throughout the day."

Hello everyone,

For those of you that have been following my son's cycling career over the last few years know that 2007 was his first year into the U23 category (riders aged 19 through 22).

It has been an amazing year for Tejay, one that started with the tour of California and just ended with the U23 world championship.

Dave Kuticpal shouldering the bike in the 35+/cat 4

This weekend Mix one had 4 guys racing and two in the top ten, a great accomplishment considering the size of fields that these Boulder Series races brings in.

Cross season starting off well for Boulder Velo Racing

With 3 races under the belt already, Boulder Velo has reached 1st in BAR and 2nd in BAT for cat 3. Of course the season has just started but its exciting to see all of the hard work put in by the team and the coach to get to this point and we would like to thank all of our sponsors who have made it possible to even be competing at this level!
