Hi YourCycling.com Members!

As you may have heard, my company, The Kisco Group, has taken over operations of YourCycling.com and all of the other Enthusiast Group sites, including YourMTB.com, YourRunning.com, and YourClimbing.com.

What does this mean for YourCycling.com? Well, first off, YourCycling.com isn’t going anywhere! And the goal remains to make YourCycling the best cycling community on the web.

The final stage of the 2007 Nature Valley Grand Prix was absolutely brutal. It's not too often that I'm concerned about making the time cut but today I was. The one hour CRIT started at the base of a 22% grade climb. By the third lap the leaders were out of my sight and I was just hoping to last the minimum 15 minutes. I ended up getting pulled with a group of about fifteen, twenty-seven minutes in. Cory finished with the lead group as usual but lost the best amateur riders jersey to a rider with a pro contract.

After racing at Invesco Field in Denver yesterday, I was able to catch up with Jack Seehofer, a fellow Team Einsten rider. Jack tallied a win and a second place finish for the day, despite his age. Just kidding, Jack! Check out our conversation:

I caught Jason Donald (team rider for Slipstream) on the phone after he returned from the Tour of California. We talked about the incredible race atmosphere, what it means for the future of American cycling, and the effect his break-out time trial performance has had on him and the rest of the cycling world. I was at MOB training center (in Denver, Colorado) the other day when I ran into (new team rider for BMC) Jonathan Garcia on the trainer, prepping for the Tour of California. Not being one to shy away from a chance for an interview, I asked him a few questions right there while he was "riding." Here's what he had to say:

What do cyclists do during the big game? Some ride, some watch, and some don’t even know it’s on. I even know a few who pretty much boycott any type of ball sport or American sport. Here in Boulder many of us took some time off the bike and got together to watch the game.
