Another year, another Tour de France shrouded and marred by a doping scandal. Instead of discussing the winner of the race, people are focused on who took what, who got caught taking it, and how the sport will continue catching the perpetrators of this drug plague.

As we debate and search for answers, the problem will likely continue to overshadow the beauty of the sport. Unless, of course, we were to take YourCycler coolblueskies' suggestion to revamp all racing formats. He suggests, in essence, getting it all out in the open. Since the "line between cheating and gaining a competitive advantage in pursuit of that all-important goal, victory, is at best blurry," we should let the dopers dope and the purists ride drug-free, and give them separate races.
