I had a crash like yours 3 year ago... I think yours is worse than mine because I was travelling very slow and you were travelling at 40 mph!
Now I'm as beautiful as before and I learned an important lesson: never ride a bike in a dark road after smoking joints!

A class action lawsuit has been filed to force the US Forest Service to comply with the laws concerning fee collection on Mt Evans.

In spite of INCREASED congressional funding and laws to the contrary, the US Forest Service continues to collect fees for visitors traveling the Mt Evans Highway to picnic or visit the scenic overlook at the top.

The law prohibits the Forest Service from charging fees for general access, prohibits fees for parking and/or picnicking, and prohibits fees for overlooks such as the Summit of Mt Evans. For a copy of the law and a copy of the complaint, visit www.westernslopenofee.org.

Fact: Not one penny of the fees go towards road maintenance or repair.

These fees will not end unless YOU get involved. Please help protect our public lands.
