We've had a ROUGH winter here in Boulder, Colorado. I could've used one of these the last couple months. Alas, the only bike in my household that's seen action since December is my trainer.

A little electric boost

Last fall's Interbike had a bunch of powered bikes on display. This one has an electric motor. Y'know, as the world wakes up to the global warming threat, these powered bikes could be a way to get some folks out of their cars.

Spotted this at Interbike last fall. Kind of a cross between a bike and a skateboard. Think it'll catch on?

Bizarre gas-powered bike

I spotted this oddball at Interbike in Las Vegas last fall. That's a gas-powered engine in the wheel. The "gas tank" is the water bottle; don't take a drink!
