His controversial riding style on a bike made partially out of washing machine parts added to his mystic. He also had a tough childhood and suffered from depression. The Flying Scotsman also went on to become the World Pursuit Champion. They’ve made a movie about his life titled “The Flying Scotsman”. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great movie where he overcomes personal and cycling battles to become a champion.
