Update: wow, that was fun! Humbling, yes, but a good challenge. I managed to do several runs of 20+ feet. I practiced on a tennis court along the chain link fence. That worked pretty well, but next time I need to wear gloves.

It's a pretty good workout, too. I was sweating the whole way through.
