My editors at YourCycling.com asked me to list my top 10 favorite cyclocross races. OK, here goes... --Whitey Debroux
1) Clark Natwick Grand Prix - San Francisco, California - 60 minutes
It was nice to race in the redwoods and San Fran is a super cool city. Also my best USGP finish of 14th.

Whitey after 60 minutes of cyclocross effort
2) Surf City Cyclocross - Watsonville, California - 60 minutes
I love Santa Cruz and it was a great course.
3) Liberty Mutual Cup - Providence, Rhode Island - 60 minutes
End of season, big money, non-sanctioned race where normal rules didn’t seem to apply. The most aggressive CX race I have been in.
4) Grand Prix of Gloucester - Gloucester, Massachusetts - 60 minutes
Great course, on the ocean and we stayed in downtown Boston, which I love. I also got to see a real whale in the ocean!
5) Boulder Cup - Boulder, Colorado - 60 minutes
Hands down my favorite race of all time. The biggest and loudest crowds, perfect weather, my family flew out to watch, and it's only five minutes from my house.
6) Scion Stumptown Cup - Portland, Oregon - 60 minutes
Super muddy and cold, which I like. Hot tub full of underdressed people jumping out on the course riding little kid bikes and sliding in the mud. Gotta love Portland and you gotta love cross.
7) Rad Cup - Lakewood, Washington - 60 minutes
Great atmosphere and a great course. Primus Mootry pit crew may have executed some of the fastest bike changes in the history of cross.
8) KLM UCI Cyclocross - Kansas City, Missouri - 60 minutes
These Midwesterners are crazy. They had a beer tent set up with live music and then ran the course right through the middle of it. At one point a group of streakers ran through the tent right in front of me.
9) Louisville Rec Center - Louisville, Colorado - 60 minutes
Fast course and I have always done well on it.
10) CU Research Park 06 - Boulder, Colorado - 60 minutes
We race here all the time but for the September 29th race they made some changes to the course that puts it in my top 10 list. Nice natural obstacles on a fast flowing course only five minutes from my house.
Those are my favorites (for now; I may change this list after this next season). What are yours?...
